Favourite Winter Activities // Sponsor Spotlight

winter activities

This past weekend was spent relaxing at my parents' house on Lake Huron. This place is breathtaking in any season, but in winter it is a whole other world.  The Great Lakes freeze up is definitely in full swing, with over 90% of Lake Huron covered. My parents' beach is virtually unrecognizable under all of the white stuff.

One of my favourite winter activities is going for a walk in the snow. Walking through waist deep snow is quite the workout, and breathing in the clean and crisp fresh air is good for your soul. I love that I live in a place that experiences winter. And in the words of Princess Elsa, "The cold never bothered me anyway."

Let's see what this month's Small Town ladies have the say about their favourite winter activities...

  1. I'm so jealous of your winters! Here winter is usually just dark, dreary and miserable - very gray! Not much snow. If I had snow my favourite winter activity would definetly be skiing. I love skiing!
