Dancing Lights

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, my mind has been on Spring Break.

We were fortunate to have the perfect night on Saturday.  So perfect, that this happened...

(Please excuse the amount of city light because it was 1am and I was too lazy to get in the car and drive out of the middle of the city and the camera shake because I was excited/without a tripod/standing outside in a hoodie in below freezing temperatures.)

Ambient light and camera shake, or not, you can't argue that this sight is magical.
Nature at its best.

Have you ever seen the Aurora Borealis?

  2. Yes! The most awesome time was when we were camping in the arctic circle. The colors were so incredible!

  4. Oh, I miss this SO much! My parents had these amazing windows in their bedroom that were floor to ceiling that were perfect for watching the sky. Midnight perfection

  5. Lucky, lucky you! My three winters in Alaska were all spent in the trough of the Northern Lights cycle, so they were pretty much non-existent for me. I saw them once--out the window of an airplane. Boo.

So glad they were putting on such a show for you!
