Celebrity Steve made his debut as an Alaska Ace in a game versus the Idaho Steelheads Friday night. Although no longer wearing # 26 (instead he’s #21.. not cool), he definitely made an impression. The game went into overtime and with about a minute left S Ward did his thing and scored the game winning goal! Consensus in the stands (because I was sitting in the super fan section) was that he’s the new “fan fav”! He also got the first star of the game, elevating his celebrity status in Anchorage.
