To & Fro's 2014 in Review

Happy New Year! May 2015 bring you and yours much joy, health and love.

While 2013 was a year for the books (saying goodbye to AK, moving home, getting married, new jobs, etc.), 2014 was another one full of life changes and new adventures. It was a year full of challenges - still trying to find my place in this big city, saving our pennies and living with family, different work schedules not allowing for much adventure, Steve retiring from hockey, a change in our routine and giving up the chance to move to England, and recent family loss. But on the positive side, we made the leap into home ownership, Steve's retirement came with a new adventure and we spent amazing week in our favourite place on Earth, Alaska, with a pit stop in Seattle to celebrate our first anniversary.

I'm not quite sure what 2015 will bring us but I anticipate it will be another year of exciting and scary life changes. Goodbye 2014, hello 2015. Bring it on!

A HUGE thank you to all of you for being so supportive this year and helping T.O. & fro grow from a teeny tiny family-only travel journal to what it's become today.  And now, for the T.O. & fro's top 10 posts and Instagram photos of 2014, as determined by YOU, the reader:

  1. Sounds like a great year overall! My favorite part of 2014 was most likely my honeymoon in Thailand…no idea what 2015 will bring, but I'm hoping for more travels!
